Description
Flower store Efeulaube, Männedorf
Welcome to the Efeulaube flower store in Männedorf
Philosophy
Good craftsmanship can no more be copied than art or creative ideas. A special style and inspiration give the Efeulaube flower store a special touch. These core elements, together with customer focus and good quality, are likely to be the recipe for many years of successful business.
Company history and strategy
The flower store Efeulaube was founded on November 21, 1998 in Stäfa. On September 11, 2010, an acquisition was made as a result of a succession plan, as a result of which the Efeulaube flower store was relocated to a central location at Kugelgasse 24 in Männedorf. This enabled both the store space and customer frequency to be increased considerably. The strategy of offering exquisite floristry in the best possible quality and at an optimal price-performance ratio is proving successful today and will continue to do so in the future. At the Efeulaube flower store, you are sure to find something suitable, be it in the form of a bouquet, a flower arrangement or a plant. We specialize in decorations for weddings, christenings, birthdays and other festive occasions. We also offer funeral arrangements.
Inspiration and symbolismThe ivy-covered vine wall in the garden of our home and the benefits of our favorite plant inspired us to name it Efeulaube. Ivy already had a pronounced meaning in some cultures thousands of years ago. The ancient Egyptians revered ivy as a sacred plant. In Greek cultures, ivy was used to make victory wreaths for returning soldiers. In a plant symbolism developed in the Middle Ages, the evergreen ivy was regarded as a symbol of loyalty, immortality and eternal life.
Ivy still plays an important role in medicine today, particularly for skin conditions and respiratory problems. An ivy vine gives a bouquet or table decoration that certain something and makes it a perfect piece of work. Ivy should not be missing in a wedding decoration due to its symbolic content. We look forward to your visit.
