Who are we? :

Simon Guérin, 30, has always been passionate about car mechanics, with 10 years' experience in a local garage before opening his own. On the private side, he is married to Fabia and the proud father of two little girls, aged 3 and 1 respectively. He lives with his family in Bex.

Marc Italiano, 32, has been self-employed for several years now, and has a solid background in heavy-duty mechanics. On the private side, Marc has two little boys aged 2 years and 2 months respectively, and lives with his partner Eva in Frenières-sur-Bex.

General description:

Simon and Marc have known each other for many years given that they are, both, children of the Bex region. It was in 2020 that Marc approached Simon with the idea of launching an independent business together as partners. After almost a year of discussion and reflection, Garage de la Plaine reopened in March 2021 with Marc, and Simon joined the boat in May 2021, just after the birth of his second daughter. Garage de la Plaine has existed for 30 years under the management of Mr. Daniel Genoud, who handed over the business to Simon and Marc. Mr. Genoud is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement!
