Ecology
Heating is the most energy-intensive element in a home. It accounts for around 90% of energy consumption, with 60% used to heat the home and 30% to produce hot water.

Subsidies
The canton of Vaud and the communes have introduced a whole range of incentives to encourage energy-saving projects, energy efficiency and the production of heat or electricity from renewable sources.

Wood heating / Pellets
Wood heating is highly efficient in addition to being ecological and economical. This energy source is back in vogue thanks to the introduction of fully automated pellet boilers that require no handling. Using wood pellets also makes storage easier, as they are much more compact than traditional logs.

From an ecological point of view, wood is a very good choice. Indeed, burning wood releases CO2, however it has been proven that a tree captures more CO2 between the time it is planted and the time it is cut than it releases when it is burned.

Wood is the cheapest fuel available today, so using it is more economical than using gas or oil.

Gas heating
Gas heating is an excellent solution if your home is connected to the gas network. The latest generation of boilers, known as condensing boilers, deliver substantial gas savings while protecting the environment. Thanks to its continuous supply, gas heating is very easy to use.

It's also possible to heat with gas even if you're not connected to the gas network, thanks to the installation of a tank.

Heat pump heating
Heat pump heating offers many advantages. Operating and heating costs are reduced, and the use of heat pumps produces very little pollution. In ecological terms, the heat pump is one of the best choices. Electrically powered, the heat pump is not dependent on fossil fuels and is therefore unaffected by fluctuations in the price of natural gas, fuel oil and coal.

Heat pumps can also be used for ventilation, cooling and even hot water production.

The use of a heat pump is 3 to 4 times less expensive than fossil fuels. We work with all brands, but mainly with the European leader Alpha Innotec.

Oil heating
Oil heating is still the cheapest form of heating today. The major advances made by manufacturers in recent years, notably with the introduction of condensing boilers, have reduced the environmental impact and also sharply cut fuel oil consumption.

More and more homeowners are choosing to replace energy-hungry older-generation boilers with condensing boilers that consume much less fuel and therefore pollute less. It's also possible to further reduce fossil fuel consumption by combining your oil-fired heating system with a renewable energy source such as solar power.

Solar power can produce all the hot water you need during the summer months, allowing you to switch off your oil-fired heating during this period. Oil can also be completely replaced by alternative energy sources such as natural gas, heat pumps or wood heating. Solar thermal panels
