Intragna is a small picturesque village located between two Valleys – Centovalli and Valley Onsernone. This wonderful region is a candidate for becoming a Swiss National Park. The village of Intragna is in Canton Ticino and can be reached by car (15 minutes) or the 'Centovallina' train (20 minutes) from Locarno. The train station of Intragna is 5 min walk from the hotel. Intragna also has a good train connection to Domodossola, Italy.
Intragna is known for the tower of the San Gottardo Church, which is the highest church tower in Ticino. The entire village use stone as a building material and this has given Intragna its timeless appearance. This give visitors the illusion of having stepped back into the 13th century despite the fact that it is only a few miles from the sophisticated world-famous resorts of Lugano, Locarno and Ascona.

The climate in this region is subtropical. In Intragna and nearby are marked and well-maintained trails that offer opportunities for hikers of all fitness levels.
