Lymphatic drainage is a therapeutic massage technique designed to stimulate lymphatic circulation and promote the elimination of waste products and toxins accumulated in the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes that transports lymphatic fluid, which contains waste products and toxins, out of the body.

Lymphatic drainage consists of gentle massage movements. These gentle, rhythmic movements aim to stimulate the lymphatic vessels and help lymphatic fluid circulate more efficiently, thus reducing lymphatic congestion.

It can be accompanied by contensions or bandages to maintain the drainage effect and stabilize and reduce congestion.
