Quality dental care and a person-friendly service The Regional Dental Medical Service (SMDR) operates on the third floor of the Mendrisiotto Ambulance Service (SAM) headquarters, in Via Beroldingen 3 in Mendrisio. The Service is a dental medicine clinic equipped with four independent studios with the possibility of traditional and three-dimensional (3D) radiology and offers Momo' citizens hi-quality care and services, with competence and professionalism at advantageous rates. Treatments and care are characterized by a holistic approach tailored to the person and his needs. The staff is able to accommodate people with disabilities and with special needs. The Regional Dental Medical Service - SAM is the dental medicine center of the region which operates in agreement with the 14 Municipalities of Mendrisiotto. At the service of the citizen This important regional reality was born in 2005, thanks to a series of reflections already matured in the mid-90s. Following a feasibility study, which was followed by an analysis of the needs in the dental field of the Momo Region, an association under private law was set up, the Mendrisiotto and Basse Ceresio Regional Dental Service, which has agreements with all the Municipalities of the Mendrisiotto. Following the approval of the then 16 Municipalities of the Region, on 1 July 2021, the Service was integrated into the Mendrisiotto Ambulance Service Association (SAM). Today's 14 Municipalities have renewed their trust in the SAM by signing the new agreement with the Association, increasingly profiled as a Regional Health Centre. The same keep a check on the work of the SAM through their Municipal Delegates who are constantly updated on the financial and operational progress of the Association thanks to the transmission of the budget accounts, the final balances and the data relating to the activity carried out. Thanks to the agreements in place with the Municipalities and on the basis of the new Dentotar price list, our patients can take advantage of the following discounted rates: Persons domiciled in the area: point value CHF 1.00 Persons domiciled outside the district: point value CHF 1.10 On the other hand, the SMDR proves to be particularly attentive to economically disadvantaged patients, both through the possibility of installment payments and through the reports of the Chancelleries of the Municipalities belonging to the SAM Association and collaborates with the social offices of the Canton. To meet the treatment needs of our patients, even in cases of people with disabilities or who cannot reach the office, the Service is equipped with a portable unit to perform dental care and hygiene at home. This recent purchase was made possible thanks to a donation from the Croce Verde Mendrisio Foundation. The Foundation itself, owner of the grounds and headquarters in Via Beroldingen 3, has also carried out expansion and improvement works for the SMDR studio in order to make it more welcoming and functional. SMDR operates on weekdays at the following times: Monday to Thursday (08:00 - 19:00) · Friday (08:00 - 17:00) Saturday (08:00 - 12:00) If you receive by appointment, in the event of an emergency, everything possible is done to welcome patients without a reservation on the same day. Our multidisciplinary team is able to welcome and communicate with users in the following languages: Italian – French – German – English – Spanish – Croatian – Italian Sign Language (LIS). The Service also participates in the SSO dental emergency picket, which can be reached on 0900 55 00 55 (CHF 2/MIN).

Je recommande vivement Madame Samira Ghedir (hygiéniste dentaire) très douce, m'a expliqué chaque étape du traitement et tout ça dans la bonne humeur. Ieri sera alle 18.00 scivolando ho rotto incisivo sinistro e segnato il destro. Quale dentista scegliere? Dopo aver preso spunto anche dal sito SSO (società svizzera odontoiatri) ho scelto quello che oltre ad avere ottime recensioni avesse un sito serio, chiaro, ordinato, comprensibile e con pubblicati tanti lavori fatti. Uno studio aperto già alle 7.30 di mattina raggiungibile in WhatsApp per me oggi è sinonimo di disponibilità nei confronti dei pazienti Inoltre dalle foto pubblicate traspariva meticolosità e attenzione ai dettagli nonché particolare attenzione all'estetica del dente. Ecco quindi che alle 7.15 di questa mattina ho mandato una foto e un messaggio descrivendo brevemente l'accaduto. Alle 7.25 mi ha fissato appuntamento e alle 8.30 il dente era già ricostruito e più bello dell'originale. Che dire? Io non posso che dare 5 stelle
