Dropped the ball... and the box :(
We hired Masso as their office is on our daily drive, as the only reference we had so we had no expectations. In our initial meeting, we were given an hourly rate, but on the day of the move, the owner raised the price from decisions he never consulted with us: hiring two trucks instead of one. this cost raise was only communicated until the end. Additionally, they demanded to be given food and a break not even 2 hours into the job, at 10am. In the end, they requested to also be given a tip, really pushing the matter of money more than what's polite. lastly, a receipt was never given, the owner only scribbled the price on a scrap piece of paper. During the move, boxes were dropped, a wardrobe wall got damaged, and the bed headboard got scratched. Even though 4 workers were paid for, typically only 2 were working, while the other 2 took breaks. At the end, they closed the trucks before we could ensure they were fully empty, and rushed away. Overall, not a great experience.
