About us

The Violino is a popular place to live and meet people, centrally located in the village of Zell in the Lucerne hinterland. Opened in 1996, the Violino offers modern facilities for 68 elderly residents and is an attractive employer for 100 employees who share 56 full-time positions. It is run by the municipality of Zell.

Bright, spacious single and double rooms offer residents enough space to furnish their personal living space according to their own wishes. We respect the different lifestyles of our residents and value their self-determination and privacy. Violino is an open house, a meeting place for young and old. We promote lively exchange and socializing with a variety of activities.

Moving into a retirement and nursing home is not an easy step for most people. You will certainly have many questions that you would like to have answered.
