As a modern, public hospital center, Spitäler Frutigen Meiringen Interlaken (fmi) AG, based in Unterseen, provides multidisciplinary medical care for all population groups in the eastern and central Bernese Oberland. Around 60,000 patients are treated annually in the Spitäler fmi AG hospitals, and around 600 children are born here every year.
