Stäheli Partner AG – Contacts & Location
Description
We offer all services from design to construction management.
Together, we work on pioneering architectural projects of all sizes. In doing so, we always strive for the best possible solution for the location and people.
Office foundation
Stäheli Partner, based in Frauenfeld, was founded in 1994 by architect Bruno Stäheli. In over 25 years of existence, the architectural office has realized numerous buildings in the areas of residential and commercial construction, public buildings and restorations. The close exchange with specialist planners and craftsmen as well as with clients and the local building authorities has always greatly enriched the design and planning activities of the office. The focus is always on the future users of the buildings.
The designs by Stäheli Partner are characterized by appropriateness and modesty.

Exchange of generations
In 2020, long-time employee and construction manager Thomas Kolb joined the management team. In the same year, the next generation of female architects was also welcomed: Joëlle Thomas and Lena Stäheli joined Stäheli Partner as office partners. The two architects met during their studies at ETH Zurich. Both grew up and have their roots in Thurgau, graduated in architecture in Zurich in 2015 and gained different professional experiences: Lena Stäheli completed an internship in a traditional carpentry workshop in her second home country of Japan. She is very inspired by Japanese architecture, which creates a world of tranquillity with flowing spatial transitions and few natural materials. After completing her studies, Lena worked mainly on large-scale projects and architectural competitions in the offices of Harder Spreyermann and Hosoya Schaefer. Joëlle Thomas worked in the architectural office of Prof. Miroslav Šik on contextual, "analog" architecture that strives to trigger a familiar effect on people. Subsequently, during her employment at Staufer & Hasler Architekten in Frauenfeld, she learned to implement constructions in both poetic and pragmatic ways.
