The metal construction sector is in constant development.

In order to ensure a high level of competent knowledge management, synonymous with future success, four Fribourg companies founded the École du Métal in 2005: CMA Constructeurs Métalliques Associés, Morand Constructions Métalliques, Progin SA Métal and Sottas

Since then, the structure's mission has been to supervise and train apprentices in the metalworker trade.

Bolstered by this experience, the founding companies, in partnership with Metaltec Romandie, are creating a training course for metal constructor draughtsmen in 2021.

OUR MISSION

Our school aims not only to train apprentices, but also to effectively mentor tomorrow's professionals.

During the first year at the school, the full-time training manager for each branch provides a solid grounding in the practical and theoretical aspects of the industry. In this way, apprentices acquire the autonomy they need to join their own company in the second year.

This curriculum emphasizes learning the "right things to do" and also eases the transition between compulsory school and the professional world.
