Lauriane Monzione, a lifelong resident of Val de Travers, it was only natural that I would open my podiatry practice in the heart of Fleurier.
The field of podiatry encompasses several areas:
- Pedicure services, using a sterile set of instruments for each treatment. The podiatrist trims nails, removes calluses (hardened skin), and treats ingrown toenails, corns, and calluses.
- Custom orthotics. Before creating the orthotics, we conduct a comprehensive clinical examination to assess the patient holistically (observing their gait, footwear, etc.). These orthotics are custom-made and therefore tailored to the patient’s feet.
- Podiatric splints for the prevention of hallux valgus. These devices relieve pain in the joint.
- Onychoplasty and orthoplasty (devices for nails and toes)
