The estate where this wonderful oil is produced is located in the sun-drenched hills of the Greek peninsula of Mani. Since 1860, the land has been producing a superlative quality of olive oil for the global community. This oil is luscious and smooth with a full, round body and a strong fruity note. With a hint of papaya and pronounced floral notes, it is reminiscent of fields of buttercups and long summer days.

The olive variety used to produce this fabulous olive oil is the Koroneiki variety. Olive oil was already being produced from olives from these trees in ancient times, but was considered more of a medicine than a food. It cured and helped with almost everything from coughs to heart and skin problems.
