Thanks to modern GPS systems, we have the option of preparing the 3D plans ourselves using georeferenced dxf files or a list of coordinates with height information. Staking out work with the help of GPS poles is also part of our everyday work today.

We are also happy to measure laid cables for our customers so that the position can be determined again.

Widmer Traxbetrieb AG has always been a family business. The company's primary goal is to have a healthy structure and not to satisfy shareholders in order to provide jobs that are as secure as possible.

Since its foundation in 1979, the company has been run by the second generation. Widmer Traxbetrieb AG is a regional civil engineering company that specializes in various types of work (site development, excavation work, surfacing work, sewer and pipeline construction, demolition work).

As we operate regionally, we often deal with the same architects, engineers and municipalities. Our 20 or so employees always do everything they can to meet the specifications of the construction management and the client in the best possible way.

Our work includes completely new access roads with all the associated pipes (waste water pipes, storm water pipes, protective pipes for electricity, telephone, TV and drinking water pipes). We also carry out the entire road superstructure, box work, edging and surfacing work.

We carry out all types of excavation work. We use the latest technologies such as GPS controls on the machines and various GPS sticks. We also have various attachments for our excavators for demolition work, such as demolition hammers, concrete crushers and sorting tongs. We take materials that can be recycled to an appropriate place so that they can be reused afterwards. It is important to us to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Excavation

Foundation excavation

Thanks to the GPS system and GPS excavator control, we are able to design the electronic excavation plan in such a way that we can excavate foundation excavations, lift pits, excavation depressions, etc. independently without cutting scaffolding.

Demolition work

With our construction machinery, 1.50 - 30 tons, we are able to carry out smaller demolition work inside buildings as well as larger demolition work. We have various attachments such as demolition hammers, concrete breakers and sorting grabs, which can also be attached to the wheeled excavators and excavators with rubber tracks.

Sewer systems / drainage

Our field of activity also includes the renovation of pipes as well as the new construction of larger sewers.

We are also able to develop new construction areas with our construction machinery and skilled workers.

Machine control in 3D

For larger, more complex excavations, with excavation of foundations, lift pits and slopes, we are able to convert the complete excavation plan into a 3D model so that the measuring and insurance work for the points is completely eliminated. Using the list of coordinates, we are able to mark out the points precisely with the surveying stick. The slope, the excavation height and the deepening of the foundations are also always visible to the construction machine operator (see video)

Brook shoring / renaturation

Back to nature: removing concrete blocks, transportation through the watercourse, uncovering streams and enlarging the cross-section of small watercourses with the existing shoring measures, live shoring or hard shoring are also part of our activities.

Planning work

In addition to the tried-and-tested laser control system, we now also have a 3D control system for the grading blade. With our grading blade, we are able to create a larger area with mm accuracy and little effort, e.g.
