Fidelio Biofreiland AG was founded on September 12, 1994. The main tasks of Fidelio-Biofreiland AG are the marketing of animals from controlled organic farms with free-range animal husbandry.

In addition, interested organic farmers are advised on husbandry, breeding and feeding as required, butchers are supported with Fidelio meat and other sales channels and, in cooperation with the inspection body Bio Inspecta AG.

In addition to marketing livestock for slaughter, Fidelio-Biofreiland AG also brokers livestock (piglets, drinkers, fattening monkeys) between organic farms. Fidelio-Biofreiland AG is a licensee of Bio Suisse for the performance of these tasks.
