Fidelio Biofreiland AG was founded on September 12, 1994 as the successor company to Porco Fidelio AG. The main tasks of Fidelio-Biofreiland AG consist of the consistent development of special marketing structures for slaughter cattle from controlled organic farms with free-range animal husbandry.

Fidelio Biofreiland AG advises interested organic farmers on husbandry, breeding and feeding, supports butchers with Fidelio meat and other sales channels and, in cooperation with the inspection body Bio Inspecta AG.

In addition to marketing livestock for slaughter, Fidelio-Biofreiland AG also brokers live cattle (piglets, drinkers, fattening monkeys) between organic farms. Fidelio-Biofreiland AG is a licensee of Bio Suisse for the performance of these tasks.
