The SRK Canton Aargau is the Red Cross for the people of Aargau. With our services in the areas of relief, social integration, and education, we are committed to helping disadvantaged people in our canton.

We are committed

as volunteers, honorary members, and employees of the Swiss Red Cross Canton of Aargau to help people in our canton who are in need or dependent on assistance.

We are part

the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. We adhere to the seven principles of the Red Cross. Humanity, impartiality, and voluntary service are at the heart of our daily work.

We help

where help is needed. We want to close gaps, build bridges, and open new paths. We are particularly concerned with disabled, elderly, and lonely people, disadvantaged families, and family caregivers.

We promote

health and social integration, thereby preventing the need for assistance. We offer our services in all regions of our canton.

We take care

of the funds entrusted to us by our donors, the municipalities, the canton, and the federal government. We use these funds purposefully, taking economic and social considerations into account.

We are open

to one another. We treat each other with respect and trust. We are reliable partners. We actively and objectively provide information about our activities. We are aware of social changes and act with foresight.
