The craft is nothing new at von Känel.

Wilhelm von Känel-Aellig was already carrying out timber construction work early on in the 1960s. His son Wilhelm von Känel-Marmet took over the site in Neuweg (Gassi 2) and carried out timber construction planning. Sometimes masonry work was also carried out.

Today, the business is run by son Jakob von Känel in the 3rd generation.

The business has changed over time. Today, Jakob von Känel employs 5 trained professionals. 

Our strengths are excavator and walking excavator work, such as slope shoring, digging work, excavation work and stream shoring. We are also your reliable partner for transportation, masonry work and snow clearing in winter.
