Our company history

 

On January 1, 2012, a generational handover took place at the Citroën garage in Affoltern am Albis, owned by long-time Citroën mechanic Rolf Brönnimann. R. Brönnimann & Co became Garage Brönnimann-Zemp GmbH, with Michael Zemp as the new owner.

 

After nine years as a mechanic and workshop manager at Garage R. Brönnimann & Co., Michael Zemp took over the reins of the traditional French brand Citroën and continued to run the business in the usual manner.

The building underwent a facelift and was modernized in line with Citroën's specifications.

 

Since January 1, 2020, as a new "LE GARAGE" partner, we are also happy to be your workshop for other brands, thus establishing a second pillar of business alongside our Citroën dealership.

 

The year 2022 stands for change... After 10 years with the Citroën brand, Garage Brönnimann-Zemp GmbH is relinquishing its brand representation. This means that after more than 43 years, the Citroën dealer network is losing its location in Affoltern am Albis.

 

Now, as "LE GARAGE," we are applying our knowledge and experience to all brands. Of course, we will continue to serve Citroën customers as usual. Since mid-February 2022, the change has also been visible on the building. We are delighted with the new company logo and the new look.

Thanks to its many years of experience with the Citroën brand, it is not only a competent partner for new vehicles equipped with electronics, but also for Citroën classics such as the 2CV6 (Döschwo), Traction Avant (Légère), and D models. We also maintain and keep on the road models that have become rare, such as the Xantia, XM, and Saxo.
