Prof. Dr. Niklaus Ruckstuhl

Prof. Dr. Niklaus Ruckstuhl is a partner and primarily works in criminal law and criminal procedure law. He defends and supports private individuals at all stages of criminal proceedings and also advises companies and institutions on criminal law issues and writes expert opinions on selected questions. Prof. Ruckstuhl is a titular professor of criminal procedure law at the University of Basel and a judge at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft.

Wicky Tzikas

After studying law at the University of Basel-Stadt and gaining various professional experience, Wicky Tzikas was admitted to the bar in 2015. Since then, she has been working as a lawyer, primarily advising and litigating in family law matters. She also litigates in criminal law as well as labor and tenancy law.

Nico Baumgartner

Nico Baumgartner was admitted to the bar in 2011 and then worked for ten years as a lawyer in law firms in the canton of Basel-Landschaft before joining our firm as a partner in 2022. He has also served as a part-time judge at the Civil Court of Basel-Stadt since 2016. He supports and represents companies and private individuals in an advisory and litigation capacity, primarily in contract law – from the drafting and review of contractual bases, through negotiations and out-of-court dispute resolution, to the judicial enforcement of claims arising from contracts or breaches of contract. He also advises and litigates in labor law disputes and administrative measures in road traffic law.

Helena Meyer

Helena Meyer works as a lawyer in our firm. She is admitted to practice before all Swiss courts. She primarily advises and litigates in the areas of family law, victim assistance law, and criminal law. She also works as a legal advisor for the Baselland / Dorneck-Thierstein Tenants' Association and represents and advises tenants as part of her legal practice.
