Description
SAMTOSA MEANS CONTENTMENT AND SAMTOSA®YOGA CAN BE DESCRIBED AS THE "YOGA OF CONTENTMENT".
Satisfaction is an important commodity of our time. This thought led to the name of my yoga studio and ultimately to Samtosa®Yoga, the style of yoga I have coined. Samtosa®Yoga belongs to the Hatha Yoga family. The yoga exercises are carried out according to spiral-dynamic principles, back-friendly, mindful, calm and with appropriate breathing. Samtosa®Yoga is characterized by body corrections, posture work, mindfulness training and respect for the current state of being.
Samtosa®Yoga, its execution and philosophy are not performance-oriented, but rather take into account the current physical state and work towards physical, mental and spiritual satisfaction.
When practiced regularly, this holistic training helps with many "modern" complaints. This style of yoga is suitable for people who want to give their body attention, their soul a home and their mind peace. Movement, flexibility, strength, energy, balance: health on all levels helps us to take on the challenges of our lives.
Samtosa®Yoga is an interplay of body tension = yoga exercises (asanas) and relaxation = resting posture (savāsana).
The relaxation phases in between (= resting posture Savãsana) are particularly important so that the effects of the Ãsanas can unfold, the organs and cells are well supplied with blood and the muscles can recover. During the relaxation phases, everyday ballast and tension can be released and reduced. Inner peace and physical balance allow you to experience a deep sense of contentment.
