History

When a company becomes a top address for precision cylindrical grinding in the supplier industry within 30 years, this is usually due to the innovative spirit and uncompromising quality thinking of the company founders.

A few milestones in the company's history.

1986
Father Franz and son Jürg Huggler worked as specialists at Tschudin for many years until they decided to set up their own contract grinding shop together in 1986.  

1988
The good course of business requires a move to larger premises

1992
Acquisition of the grinding shop of the legendary "Studer Revox", Production of high-precision axles for tape recorders

1994
Purchase of the first lathe and entry into the complete production of turned parts

1996
Move to the current location on Römerstrasse in Arch

1998
The production of precision parts for the automotive industry begins

Certification according to ISO 9001

Foundation of the public limited company Jürg Huggler AG

A new building is constructed at the company site

Senior Franz Huggler retires from the operational business for reasons of age, but will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity with his extensive expertise.
