Schaub AG Holzbau was founded in 1921 by Jakob Schaub under the name Mechanische Zimmerei und Schreinerei. The wood for the carpentry and joinery business was cut in the company's own sawmill.

In 2018, the complete management of the business was transferred to Marc Schaub and he was appointed Managing Director. With Marc Schaub, the company is now managed by the 4th generation.The team under the leadership of Marc Schaub consists of several carpenters, joiners and apprentices.
