From Arolla, follow the steep moraine between the Glacier de Pièce and Tsijiore Nouve to point 2571, then continue on the Glacier de Pièce to the east side of Col des Vignettes. The hike takes 3–4 hours.
The hut offers drinks, half board, plain meals, group rooms, and accepts credit cards. Dogs are allowed on request.
A hut sleeping bag is mandatory for overnight stays.
