My name is Paolo Cadenazzi, I am originally from Castel San Pietro. I earned the Federal Certificate of Proficiency as a chimney sweep in 1991, the only graduate that year in all of Ticino Canton. The choice to be a chimney sweep? A head choice : at that time there were few chimney sweeps in Ticino and a lot of demand for work in the industry. I thought about the future, while still following my passion and youth for athletics and the passion, which I still have, for butchering and farming. I started from nothing, riding around on a moped and cart. Right now I still think the two cornerstones of my work are responsibility and quality.

Cadenazzi Chimney Sweeps opened its doors in 1992 and from the very beginning stood out for its professionalism andhigh quality of work at the right price. The company is constantly keeping up with new techniques in the industry and always equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as video inspection service and the latest smoke control equipment. In fact, all our interventions, carried out with professionalism and expertise , are aimed at preventing the release of toxic and harmful substances into the environment. In addition, we have the cantonal authorization for the disposal of residues from the cleaning of boilers : after the cleaning of the systems , we pre-treat the water used with a specific technique that allows us to remove all heavy metals from the liquid...which will not end up in the groundwater !

While it is common practice to have oil-fired pellet boilers cleaned annually, few still know that even those operating on gas need the same care and attention. A qualified chimney sweep is in charge of this task, who will clean the chimney and especially the heat exchanger ( where combustion residues lurk).
