Description
TCM Acupuncture Center in Baden
Federally certified TCM practitioner
My name is Wei Hofmänner-Wang. I was born in China and come from a
medical family, so I grew up with Chinese medicine. My mother tongue
is Chinese Mandarin.
I have been living in Switzerland for more than 20 years and have worked in various TCM practices
during this time. I completed my training and further education in Switzerland and China.
I speak German, English and C Chinese. I will be happy to advise you personally and treat you individually.
The Ttraditional CChinese Mmedicine does not treat disease patterns, but sees the human being as a connection between body,
soul and spirit.TCM is part of the philosophical way of thinking of Confucianism and Taoism. Both philosophies refer
to the state of happiness as the absolute harmony between man and nature.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a holistic form of therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, a treatment method that has been used for more than 2000 years. It covers the broadest range of treatments, from musculoskeletal disorders to organ diseases. There are 360 acupuncture points that run along the 12 main channels and 2 extraordinary channels. The selection of acupuncture points is based on the respective TCM diagnosis.
Thus, acupuncture can not only effectively relieve pain, but also dissolve a possible blockage of the life energy Qi, strengthen the Qi flow, promote blood circulation, strengthen the immune system, regulate functions of the nervous system, activate the body's own healing powers and maintain and restore health.
Ear acupuncture
Ear acupuncture is based on the theory of microsystem acupuncture. The entire human body is mapped in the ear and can therefore be influenced by reflex points. Around 150 acupuncture points, each of which can be assigned to a specific organ of the body, are stimulated. This form of therapy is particularly successful for asthma or headaches (migraines), sleep disorders and as a supportive therapy for smoking cessation. For this purpose, the therapists stick individual seeds of the cow clove (Vaccaria hispanica) with a small plaster on all the points of the respective symptoms. These points should be massaged three times a day for 3-5 days to achieve additional improvement.
Chinese herbal therapy
Herbal therapy uses natural herbs from traditional Chinese medicine. The herbs are differentiated according to taste, thermal behavior, pathway and organ reference and individually combined according to the disharmony pattern. Both acute and chronic illnesses are treated.
Cupping
In cupping, the acupuncture points are stimulated with glass balls. The vacuum of an applied glass ball opens the pores to eliminate and drain pathogenic factors such as cold, wind and damp and heat. Cupping can also influence the flow of Qi and improve blood circulation. The muscles feel relaxed after the treatment.
Tui- Na massage
Traditional form of therapy, also known as Tuina-Anmo (Tui = pushing/pushing, Na = grasping/lifting, An = pressing, Mo = stroking/rubbing). The gentler TuiNa massage stimulates the pathways so that Qi and blood are activated and muscles relax, relieving pain. The Tui Na method can be used in the medical field for disease prevention, stress relief and for recovery and regeneration after physical or mental exertion. The body and organs are harmonized and your soul also recovers in the process.
