Ledergerber. Can this name be a guarantee of innovation and the art of keeping up with the times? It can. The power to constantly reinvent ourselves and thus constantly move forward has been a tradition with us since the company was founded. The company was founded in Zurich in 1861 and moved to Baden a year later. For a long time, it was active in the fabric trade. In 1978, the owners ventured into ready-to-wear. Ledergerber was one of the first fashion retailers in Switzerland to focus its range on a clear style world - and thus break new ground.

Today, seven branches bear our name and around 50 employees keep them going. The last change of hands took place in 2000: Brigitte Knecht, who had already been working in the business for over ten years, has been the owner since then and manages the business. She shapes the company's philosophy and understanding of fashion with a great deal of passion and commitment, without putting herself in the foreground. She says: "Success cannot be tied to individuals, it is a team effort." Our philosophy is as independent as our name.
