In 1919, Paul Freuler bought the locksmith's shop from a community of heirs. He ran it as a mechanical locksmith's shop until 1945, when his son Paul took over the management of the company. The mechanical locksmith's shop became a metal construction and iron construction company. For health reasons, he handed over the company to his son Paul in 1974 as the 3rd generation. In 1998, the sole proprietorship was converted into a public limited company. Paul Freuler died unexpectedly in November 1998. As his son chose a different career path, the company continues to run today under his wife Dagmar Freuler and two long-standing employees. Apprentices have been successfully trained for decades.
