Waterjet Liechtenstein – your strong partner for manufacturing processes
Water jet technology
High-pressure water jet cutting is an alternative and complementary cutting method to traditional mechanical and thermal processes. An oil hydraulic pump generates the necessary oil operating pressure (200 bar), which is transferred to the water via an oscillating oil/water cylinder at a ratio of 20:1.
Innovative process, efficient production
Water jet cutting has proven particularly effective in areas where conventional methods deliver insufficient quality. There is no additional expenditure for follow-up processing or reduced process speed. Since water jets produce neither gases nor vapors, the process is also safe, clean, and environmentally friendly.
Advantages of the water jet cutting process
Precise contour creation (accuracy of 0.1 mm possible)
Good cut quality
The water jet also cuts different layers of material
Hardly any heat is introduced into the material to be cut (as it is a mechanical cutting process). The maximum temperature is approx. 60 °C. This does not affect the structure of the material.
Conductive and non-conductive, hard and soft materials can be cut (e.g., wood, plastic, leather, rubber, aluminum, glass, ceramics, stone, paper, etc.)
Can be used in combination with a CAD/CAM system
The water jet ensures that the chips do not "float" through the air.
Material thicknesses of up to 150 mm can be cut.
