Daniele:

Born on 19.1.1965

At the age of 24, I decided to rebuild my family home in Ticino myself. For this I took 1 year off work, quit my job in the canton of Zug and left my secure field after 7 1/2 years of training as a radio-TV technician (now multimedia electronic).

I packed my bags and moved to Ticino, in my father's birthplace.

On April 1, 1989, an important new chapter in my life began. Little did I know at that time that I would start a business and soon after start a family in Ticino.

During the reconstruction work, therefore in my spare time, word spread in the village and the surrounding area that a radio and TV technician lived in Banco. Increasingly, my expertise was needed. In addition, I accepted job offers from well-known companies in the field of installation of anti-tampering systems, repair and production of amplifiers for cable TV antennas and CB-radios.

Unexpectedly and quickly, home reconstruction became a secondary thing and my rooms were turned into a large workshop.

Exactly one year later, on 1.4.1990, I founded my company, which has grown and become successful over time. Inspired by my family name Raimondi and the word Tele (derived from Television), the company name TELEMONDI was created.

My work (and thus the company Telemondi) is not only my professional activity, but it is also my passion and it is also my hobby.

In 1995 I became a father for the first time and that made me proud. Then in 2000 my second child was born and therefore my luck was perfect. My children often accompanied me to work. They grew up, so to speak, in a field of multimedia electronics. But I never expected or even dreamed that Telemondi would become a family business!

In 2012, I continued my training as an apprentice trainer. Telemondi has thus also become a training company and with this step also a family business.

My future plans for Telemondi are to fully support my children in their professional development. I want to share my knowledge and experience with them and prepare them for the time when they take over the company in the future.
 

Ananda: 

Born 3.7.1995

I have been a member of Telemondi since 2012. I successfully completed my apprenticeship in 2016 and have been working as a technician specializing in multimedia electronics ever since.

When I reached the age to enter the workforce, multimedia electronics was not among the options, even though I grew up with Telemondi. I make it clear that no one forced this choice on me; I was helped to find my way.

I liked cooking (still my hobby today) and being active in a socio-pedagogical and creative environment (with children). In these fields I did several internships in Canton Aargau for a year and a half. Wherever I worked, I was even offered an apprenticeship.

During this period I became aware of my abilities and desires for a profession. In addition, I missed my home, Ticino, very much. So I left Canton Aargau at the beginning of 2012 and started an 8-month internship at my father's company. This period helped me realize that I can combine my desires and skills as a technician in multimedia electronics at Telemondi. I am able to apply my socio-educational and creative skills and acquired knowledge in a modern, diverse and ever-changing field.

In the future, I also intend to contribute to the growth of Telemondi through coaching and team building work. This is to render optimal, quality, updated and up-to-date service to the customer.

Born 2.6.2000

Electronics and technology have fascinated me since childhood. So much so that all my
electronic devices/devices, for example remote control cars, did not last more than 2 weeks. What do I mean by that? I took everything apart down to the last detail, because I wanted to understand what was hiding inside.

When my brother was doing his apprenticeship and I was observing what he was learning, I got hooked and immediately decided to follow this path. What attracts me as an electronic multimedia technician, besides the specialized knowledge, is also the variety of my daily work and the closeness to my family.

In 2020, I completed my four-year apprenticeship as an electronic multimedia technician. After that, I planned to study energy and environmental engineering. Renewable energy and alternative energy, my passion, are in my opinion extremely important for our world, and I would like to integrate this part into our company in the future. Our family business should be dynamic, environmentally conscious and constantly developing.
