The Stadtcasino Basel is a cultural beacon in the heart of Basel, originally dating back to 1824 with the main Musiksaal added in 1876. Renowned as one of the best concert halls in the world for its acoustics, it was extensively renovated and extended by Herzog & de Meuron in 2020. The venue combines 19th-century neo-Baroque grandeur with contemporary design, serving as the home of the Basel Symphony Orchestra. It offers a 1500-seat hall, smaller chambers, and foyer spaces, hosting classical concerts, corporate events, and cultural gatherings.
