WELCOME TO THE BZB The BZB is a small private school in Basel that caters to the individual needs of each student. Children, teenagers and adults are prepared for vocational apprenticeships or the Swiss Matura in small classes from primary to secondary level.

Small classes At BZB, students learn in a more concentrated way, as lessons take place in a family atmosphere. Teachers can respond better to individual needs and the subject matter is taught in a focused and efficient manner. The curriculum is adapted to the students' abilities and promotes independent learning.

Individual and personal Our school management is available at all times, knows all students personally and regularly discusses their progress with them and their parents.

Our offer The BZB prepares students for the Swiss Matura, vocational apprenticeships or a return to public school. It is aimed at children, young people and adults - regardless of previous education, accompanying circumstances or special needs.

School fees and scholarships The school fees include tuition in small classes and all teaching materials. We offer funding support through scholarships to provide access to quality education for all.

Successes Since 1985, 96% of our recommended students have successfully passed the Swiss Matura and embarked on a variety of careers.
