This means leaving the quiet environment and carrying out the fitting in a wide variety of "acoustic environments."

Behind the customer: subwoofer and 2 speakers. Hörberatung Basel uses five surround sound systems to create background noise from everyday life in each treatment room. With this system, which is unique in the Basel region, four speakers play sounds such as the braking of the number 8 tram at Märtplatz or the clinking of glasses in a Basel restaurant. The corresponding film is shown on the computer screen.

It is important that you, as a customer, can connect what you hear with an image. Because you are familiar with the situation and can identify the sound precisely, our hearing care professionals at Hörberatung Basel are able to customize your hearing aid. While the film is playing, the hearing aid is in the customer's ear and connected to the computer, where the changes are then made online. The improvement is immediately audible.
