We also always have used instruments for sale. We try to keep this section as up-to-date as possible. Nevertheless, we recommend visiting us in person, as there is a constant coming and going of second-hand instruments

We are one of the largest rental companies for percussion instruments of all kinds in Switzerland. Repair & Service

An important plus point for our customers is that we not only see ourselves as a seller of percussion instruments, but also provide you with advice and assistance when it comes to repairs or modifications to your favorite instrument.

In our own workshop, we can get your instruments back in shape, regardless of their type. With our technical equipment and expertise, we are also ideally equipped to modify your instrument according to your specifications.

Since 2011, we have also been offering our own custom drum line, Biit Custom Drums. If you can't find what you're looking for at the big manufacturers, you've come to the right place. Almost any wish or bold idea can be realized and we only use the best components.

About us

 Pro Percussion AG was founded in May 2005 by Claude Conradi and is now the largest specialist store for percussion instruments of all kinds in north-western Switzerland.

Claude Conradi

Claude Conradi has been working in this industry for over 35 years and can draw on many years of experience and a large network of contacts. As an ambitious amateur drummer, he has been playing in a rock-blues band and in the drum ensemble of the Drumschool Basel for years. He is the person to contact when it comes to classical instruments such as marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, timpani etc.. And timpani revisions are his favorite pastime...

Beat Schürpf

 

In June 2005 Beat Schürpf joined the team. He has also been in the drum business for a long time and has a great deal of specialist knowledge. He is also a versatile drummer and percussionist. Musical highlights are and were:

BAUM, The Lost Art, Slimboy, Top Secret Drum Corps, Blush, Stickstoff, The Disco Experience, Fasnchtsgesellschaft Gundeli.

In 2011, he founded his own brand Biit Custom Drums and has been making drums to customer specifications ever since.

Marco "Caco" Brander

Marco "Caco" Brander is certainly known to many as the drummer of the band  "More Experience", which is considered one of the best Jimi Hendrix tribute bands in the world. Caco is also a true cajon specialist and has been sitting on the drum stool with "The Blackberry Brandies" since 2013.

 

Together we form a strong team and always strive to provide our customers with the best possible service. Our aim is to present a wide and varied range of products, to offer our customers friendly and competent advice and to place great emphasis on service.
As we all enjoy what we do, we do everything we can to create a positive atmosphere (new German vibe...) in our store and hope that our customers feel at home in the Pro Percussion store.

HALL OF FAME

Bela Szigeti has been with us since the founding of our company and has already gained over 15 years of experience in the drum business. He has also been a passionate professional drummer since his youth and plays in various jazz formations. We sometimes call him Tony, because in our eyes Bela is the reincarnation of Tony Williams. So, if anyone wants to know how Mr. Williams played something, just ask Bela. Bela went into well-deserved retirement at the beginning of 2017.
