AT NORTHLING YOU WILL FIND AN EXQUISITE COLLECTION OF CAREFULLY SELECTED HIGH QUALITY SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN FURNITURE, MODERN ART, RARE ANTIQUES AND INTERIOR DESIGN.

We look for design products based on the same tradition of craftsmanship that we find in the historical roots of Scandinavian furniture making, that tell a story and that we can confidently say have the potential to be the antiques of the future. In our collection you will find design classics by Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm, Paavo Tynell, Berndt Friberg, Ole Wanscher, Fredrik Kayser - to name but a few - but also lesser known designers and producers, without compromising on our standards of design and craftsmanship. Northling occupies the ground floor of the 700-year-old merchant's house "Zum Grünen Helm" at Gemsberg 5, in Basel's old town. 120 sqm, divided into 5 rooms, each offering a unique and outstanding exhibition space.
