Welcome to Nautik Schule Basel, the friendly and competent driving school.

The leading nautical training company is located in the heart of Basel, the only Swiss city with a connection to the sea. On the Rhine and on all the world's oceans, we train you safely and easily to become a skipper.

Boating school:
We are proud to call ourselves the most successful boating school in the region. Thanks to the teaching skills and extensive experience of our team, you will be prepared for the practical exam safely and in line with requirements.

The most modern boats are available for you. We teach on Jeanneau 635 with inboard drive with rigid shaft, and Jeanneau 695 with outboard engine (150hp). Both boats have heating, and a lot of comfort. 

These driving school boats were specially built for training and offer the student the ideal conditions for driving lessons.

Sailing school: 

Sailing training is divided into a theoretical and practical part.
Theory courses For theory training, we run more than 10 theory courses every year. In these extremely popular courses, you will be trained for the theory exam as required. The practical explanations are also of great importance for serious training. It really is worth attending these interesting courses.

The offer of sailing training on the Rhine is met with great enthusiasm and lively interest.

Ocean training:

Rene and Ruedi, themselves owners of sailing yachts, were able to perfect the multifaceted knowledge required to guide yachts and train skippers during numerous test trips and the initial construction of yachts ex shipyard. After tens of thousands of miles, during numerous Atlantic crossings, Red Sea and Indian Ocean crossings, René and Ruedi have proven that engine failure cannot upset them in difficult situations, nor can wind speeds of over 10 Bft. Their extensive knowledge and practical experience guarantee a very instructive, interesting course.

Car driving school: Our driving school vehicles are two Saab Turbo Cabrio with everything you can think of.

From now on we also teach on Audi with automatic!
 

Basic motorcycle courses:

Prices:

• Price per lesson: Fr. 95.--
• 1 lesson: 45 minutes
• Driving school insurance: CHF 90 (compulsory)
• Meeting point in the theory room at St. Alban-Rheinweg 94 / 3rd floor left
• The compulsory basic motorcycle course for 125 qcm comprises 2 courses of 3 1/2 hours each. If you are unable to attend one of these lessons, it must be made up. If there are insufficient registrations, the courses may be postponed. Course costs: 2 x Fr. 180.- / At the end of the course you will receive the attendance test from us

Equipment required:

• Certified safety helmet (ECE Regl. 22)
• Motorcycle boots: High shoes with ankle protection (no trainers or low shoes)
• Motorcycle gloves: Abrasion-resistant gloves (no wool/fleece gloves)
• Motorcycle trousers: Robust, long trousers
• Motorcycle jacket: Robust long-sleeved jacket
