Ecoglass was born as an eco-sustainable project that offers a rental and washing service of reusable tableware suitable for all kinds of events to drastically reduce the waste of plastic and waste, thus providing a complete service to its customers to best meet any request in full respect of the environment.The present project came about as a result of observations made over the past few years during countless direct attendance and organization of events, from which we could see an increasing level of waste and the consequent difficulty and problematic nature of disposal, especially with regard to glasses.As a result of this observation, we were able to verify that, in general, only 30 percent of the disposable plastic tableware normally used is disposed of properly in the waste. This obviously does not correspond to the increase in ecological standards that, fortunately, is demanded by our modern society.This has led us to imagine a possible sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for Ticino, declined in multiple rental and sales offers, which does not force event organizers and managers to have to go outside the canton to cope with the washing and storage of tableware, thus nullifying this increasingly sought-after effect of ecological sustainability.
