The studio is located at 12 Mesolcina Street in Bellinzona, within walking distance of the center, the FFS station, and the bus stop. It also has several private parking spaces.
The CO2 laser, dental microscope, Cerec equipment, volumetric tomography, and digital radiographs are used in our practice. In most cases reconstructions are planned using three-dimensional digital techniques.

Dental Prophylaxis and Hygiene
Oral hygiene is a prerequisite for healthy teeth and to maintain the restorations performed in the long term. Hygiene sessions with our staff are aimed at eliminating bacterial plaque and tartar. In addition, the patient is instructed on how to perform proper home hygiene.
Conservative
Conservative treatment aims to eliminate carious lesions, replace old inadequate fillings, and adequately reconstruct the tooth using composite resins. Modern composites have a wide choice of colors, so the filling blends perfectly into the treated tooth.
Fixed prosthetics (Cerec)
Restoration of severely damaged teeth using modern computerized technology, which involves taking an optical impression and milling the restoration directly to the patient. The treatment can be performed in one session, and traditional impression-taking is no longer necessary. This technology is suitable for making:
Endodontics
Root treatment is necessary when caries is so advanced that it inflames the tooth or following trauma. the nerve (pulp) is removed, the root canal disinfected and sealed with special materials. Then the tooth is reconstructed with the initial morphology.
Parodontology
The supporting tissue of the tooth can also have pathologies that compromise its stability and cause pain. Periodontal treatment involves removing infected tissue, initially with hygiene sessions, later by targeted surgery. In special cases, laser help can be used. Retractions of the gingiva at the collars of the teeth can be covered surgically.
Implantology
By means of a surgical procedure under local anesthesia, one or more titanium screws are inserted into the jawbone to replace the roots of missing teeth. After the necessary healing period on the implants, prosthetic restorations are fixed. Implants are also indicated to stabilize removable dentures.
In our practice we only use materials produced by companies with decades of experience, tested in international studies, which confirm their quality and reliability.
Oral surgery
Removal of irreparably compromised teeth and misplaced wisdom teeth, periodontal surgery, treatment of soft tissue diseases, apical resections on teeth with infectious diseases.
Laser
The Co2 Laser allows ablation of infected gingiva, removal of labial or lingual frenules, removal of fibroids, treatment of herpes, mouth ulcers, or hypersensitive collars. Greatly reduces bleeding, pain, and healing time.
Digital volumetric tomography
Comprehensive three-dimensional visualization of dental and bone structures for better diagnosis of disease. It is also an important aid in planning surgical and implant surgery. In ideal cases it makes implant placement possible without surgical incisions.
Dental microscopy
For greater visibility and precision in treatments. The microscope makes it possible to detect problems otherwise difficult to identify with the naked eye, particularly in surgery and endodontics.
Removable prosthetics
It is a viable solution to replace large segments of missing teeth. It can consist of the classic full denture but also come attached for added stability to the remaining teeth or dental implants by means of special attachments.
Pedodontics
Dental prevention and care, preliminary orthodontic evaluation in children and adolescents. In case orthodontic treatment is deemed necessary, the patient is referred to specialists in the area.
Computerized anesthesia
For improved patient comfort. The computerized system (The Wand)doses anesthetic in small droplets and allows more targeted anesthesia to perform fillings and extractions of baby teeth. The needle is thinner and the puncture is therefore felt less intensely.
Conscious sedation
Nitrous protoxide was already used in the 1800s with an analgesic effect for dental treatment or in general surgery. Now it is used in lower concentrations to allow the patient a more relaxing treatment. The mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen is inhaled through a nasal mask. Also very suitable for treating children.
Myoarthropathies
Diagnosis and treatment of headaches and facial, muscle or joint pain of the masticatory system. Dr. Lorenzo Reali was an assistant professor at the clinic for orofacial pain at the University of Zurich (Prof. Sandro Palla)
