Its members do not belong to any particular social class; both genders are represented, as are all professions, all age groups, and all car brands.

Emotion and fascination with cars. That's what we do it all for!

The ACS, an association under the Swiss Civil Code, founded on December 6, 1898, in Geneva, aims to bring motorists together to protect their interests in terms of transport policy, economics, tourism, sports, and all other matters related to motoring, such as consumer and environmental protection. It devotes particular attention to road traffic legislation and its application. It is committed to road safety.

The overall club is made up of the members of its 19 sections, which in turn are organized as independent associations.

The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the executive and managing body of the ACS. It has all powers unless these are restricted by the Articles of Association and the Rules of Procedure or reserved for other bodies.
