The ACS, an association within the meaning of the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB), founded in Geneva on December 6, 1898, aims to unite motorists to protect transport policy, economic, tourist, sporting and all other interests associated with motoring, such as consumer and environmental protection. It devotes particular attention to road traffic legislation and its application. It is committed to road safety on the roads.

The overall club is made up of the members of its 19 sections, which in turn are organized as independent associations.

The Management Committee

The Management Committee is the executive and managing body of the ACS. It has all the powers that are not restricted by the Articles of Association and the Rules of Procedure or reserved for other bodies
