Before the First World War, August Dobiaschofsky came to Bern with his family and opened an art dealership with a gilding and framing studio in 1923, which was later expanded to include a gallery and an auction house. The specialties of the two annual auctions are Swiss art, international paintings, modern graphics, posters, antiques and jewelry.
