Pro-viv-atis is made up of three Latin words and means "for life in old age". pro - for; vivere - life; aetatis - old age
With residential and care facilities in Thun BE, Winterthur ZH and Valbirse BE, we offer people in need of care a home in a Christian environment.

We are committed to providing quality, meaningful and enjoyable living for the elderly.

The name "for life in old age" stands for our orientation and our program: Older people find a fulfilling, worthwhile everyday life in community, safety and security through the right housing and care offer - a home.

Our values

As a Christian organization, the Bible is the basis for our values, our view of humanity and our actions. God's love motivates us, gives us hope and allows us to live by values such as kindness, reliability, respect and patience.

Every ageing person is unique and valuable and deserves our appreciation. They should come to the end of their lives in dignity and security in a natural way.
