In 1862, Mr. Georges Boccard set up a nursery in Grand Saconnex.

In 2007, after almost 150 years of existence and renown, Pépinières left the family fold and was sold to the director,  Mr. Vincent Compagnon. To anchor the company firmly in the Geneva region, the nurseries were renamed in 2011:  " Pépinières Genevoises Boccard SA ".
