My Approach

4-Pfoten Coaching is a different kind of dog training school, based on a holistic approach. As a coach for human-dog teams, I dedicate my work to both the dog and the person.

Whether your dog barks furiously on the leash, at the garden gate, behind the window, or at the door, attacks people or other dogs, chases animals, cars, bicycles, or joggers, barks at visitors, or ignores your call while off-leash... you’re in the right place!

I will show you how to achieve all your goals and wishes, for example:

• Taking your dog anywhere without any worries;

• Meeting other dogs or people without stress or fear;

• Letting your dog into the garden without constant barking;

• Having a relaxed dog that focuses on you and walks calmly on a loose leash;

My Working Method

Every human-dog team is supported through personalized individual coaching.

During a free, no-obligation initial analysis, consisting of a one-hour walk, I will get to know you and your dog and show you what the path to a more harmonious life together could look like.

If you decide to work with me, you will receive:

• A customized training plan for you and your dog to achieve your goals;

• Dedicated 1:1 coaching, conducted in a suitable location, at your home, or online via Zoom;

• Mindset coaching to support your personal development and improve your relationship with your dog;

• Access to a private online member area, filled with valuable information about living with your dog;

• Support between sessions via Zoom, phone, or WhatsApp;

• Video analysis of your personal training sessions;

• The opportunity to regularly participate in guided walks, even after completing the program, to reinforce what you’ve learned with other teams and gain new experiences (e.g., taking a cable car ride with your dog).

About Me

My name is Nici (Nicole) Pirola, and I live with my husband, our dog Mia, and four cats in Bever, in the beautiful Engadin region.

I decided to pursue training in Germany as a dog trainer specializing in problematic dogs, to help other human-dog teams facing similar challenges. I know how stressful and exhausting such situations can be.

During my training, I realized that this approach is valuable for every human-dog team, even when there are no major problems, but perhaps there is a need to improve leash manners or correct annoying behaviors.

To offer an open and highly personalized approach for every human-dog team, I continuously further my education with experts in the field, both in Italy and abroad.
