La Fondation des Maisons de retraite is a private foundation recognized as being in the public interest and entered in the commercial register. Its head office is located in Aigle.

In order to maintain a close link with the population of the district it serves, it has three accommodation and reception sites (Aigle, Bex and Les Diablerets).
