The Café Restaurant de l’Écluse offers a creative, varied and delicious menu. For us it is important to work with local suppliers and provide their products within our restaurant.

The menu changes with the season and every day new recommendations are offered, these are indicated on the board and worth watching out for.

For the cordon-bleu lovers, don’t worry it is available all year round.

For vegetarians and vegans, we have many tasteful suggestions that will satisfy you.

Or even for those who enjoy a good surprise, let yourself be tempted by the surprise menu which is consisted of three courses (from 2 persons, 71.-/pp)

Starters |

  • Fresh market salad
  • Seasonal salad leaves with goats cheese, panzanella and peaches. A freshness of tomato and basil
  • Thai style melon salad, mint, chilli, coriander topped with Satay chicken (CH) sticks
  • Antipasti of marinated vegetables, italian cured meats and cheeses
    without meat
  • Beef tartar, toasts, butter, market salad or french fries

  • Veloute of courgettes and goats cheese, safran cappuccino
  • Iced summer peas and wasabi soup with white radish, prawn balls and nori seaweed crisps

  • Pan fried baby squid and king prawns with spicy salami, cream potatoes fresh mint and garden beans
  • Baby Monkfish on the bone,a line of ponzu and lime dressing, tartar of avocado, sushi rice, and crunchy vegetables

  • Cordon bleu of pork CH (Gruyere cheese, ham), french fries, seasonal vegetables
  • Veal tagliata (CH) freshened with lemons, rocket and parmesan risotto, seasonal vegetable
  • Lamb sirloin from Wales topped with a honey and cherry crust, artichokes and bulgur wheat, summer roasted vegetables

  • Fritted ricotta cheese with fresh basil served on a Sicilian caponata, baked potatoes
  • Baklava of aubergines and dates, spiced up with red pepper puree, iced cold feta cheese and a spicy crumble
