Hans Meyer AG in Birr has been committed to environmentally friendly disposal of all types of waste for many years. Through targeted separation on construction sites, much of what appears to be waste can be recycled as valuable materials or disposed of cost-effectively. The multi-skip concept offers a practical approach to sorting the material produced and helps to reduce landfill and incineration costs. The skips are set up according to the requirements of the construction phase and local conditions and loaded with the appropriate materials.

Single-material skip: Contains only one type of material that can be recycled, such as excavated soil, asphalt, concrete rubble, wood, metal, or green waste, as well as gypsum or fiber cement.
Mixed mineral demolition and construction waste: Contains parts of solid components such as concrete, brick, sand-lime brick, and natural stone masonry.
Combustible material: For combustible materials that cannot be recycled and must therefore be disposed of via the waste incineration plant.
Bulky waste: For unsorted construction waste of all kinds, except hazardous waste and dangerous substances. This skip must be sorted.
Hazardous waste: Must be disposed of separately and must not be mixed with other construction waste.

The disposal center for household and construction waste in Birr offers individual services for every situation. Materials that can be disposed of for a fee include bulky waste without hazardous waste, inert material, roof tiles, wood without foreign materials, and much more. Refrigerators, electronics, PET bottles, and paper/cardboard can be disposed of free of charge.

The recycling center offers disposal of clean concrete, reinforced concrete, single-type paving, and more for a fee. Materials such as mixed demolition granulate and recycled concrete can also be obtained.
