The Hotel Oberländerhof has always been a family business. Built in 1900 in the Art Nouveau style, the well-preserved house has been owned and run by the family for 80 years. The family-run hotel has been in its third generation since 2010 and is managed by Bernhard and Jasmin Gerber.

The hotel has everything our guests need: a wonderful location directly on Lake Brienz with a magnificent view of the surrounding area, regional cuisine, well-kept hotel rooms and long-standing staff who ensure the well-being of our guests.

Stroll along the lakeside promenade or stroll through the picturesque old village center and admire the richly carved houses. End your hiking tour in the Bönigen / Interlaken region with a fine meal at our hotel, take a break during your motorcycle or bicycle tour - no matter why - everyone is welcome here.

We spoil you with seasonal dishes

We are happy to spoil you with our breakfast buffet in the Bellavista restaurant. Enjoy the start of the day with a wonderful view of the mountains and lake. The Bellavista is a non-smoking restaurant. However, smokers are also welcome as guests in our fumoir.

In our restaurant we serve traditional and home-style cooking with seasonal and regional specialties such as "Suurä Mockä" or our popular game specialties in autumn. During the warm months our terrace invites you to linger and relax. Enjoy coffee and cake or our cold platter with fresh cheese and dried meat for your "z'Vieri"

Are you planning an event?

The restaurant is also suitable for groups of up to 25 people (exclusive hire possible) if you are planning a birthday, wedding, christening or company dinner, for example. We would be happy to advise you individually on your event with suitable menu suggestions.
