About yoga
The term yoga comes from Sanskrit (ancient Indian) and has several meanings: Union, connection or link. This suggests that it is fundamentally about finding our way back to the source of our being.
On the one hand, the exercises promote health, activate self-healing powers and support the self-healing process and, on the other, they increase well-being, body awareness and inner sensitivity. On a mental level, concentration and mental resilience are strengthened. These qualities are all the basis for our health, our well-being and a happy, contented life.
The practice of yoga harmonizes body, mind and soul. It leads to an awareness of the original unity and connection with the entire cosmos. The path leads via the body to the self.
Yoga also includes the techniques to achieve this unity. We use yoga for more quality of life, balance and energy. Hatha yoga is the ideal introduction. It offers many tools such as physical exercises, breathing exercises, deep relaxation and meditation. In a broader sense, it also includes healthy nutrition and positive thinking.
Yoga is not a religion, but a system that touches, trains and cultivates the body, mind and soul in equal measure and thus encompasses people in their entirety. We nourish body, mind and spirit for a powerful, mindful and healthy being in the midst of life.
We open up valuable spaces for self-awareness and encounters with ourselves and other people.
