Valebin SA – Contacts & Location
Description
Valebin SA, controlled landfill
Founded in 1993, the VALEBIN SA company's main activity is the operation of a type B landfill (formerly DCMI), whose management, authorization and operating conditions are imposed by the legal requirements set and controlled by the various government departments.
It promotes regional and local development, offering private companies, public authorities, sorting centers and communal waste collection centers a solution when it comes to the storage and final disposal of their inert materials.
Located in the Commune of Bofflens, in the Nord Vaudois region, it is connected to the economic centers of our region, within a radius of around 30 km.
As it fills in, we return the surfaces to agricultural land or forest.
Hoping that you will find the information you need on the various pages, we nevertheless remain at your disposal for any further information.
Information for all our customers
Asbestos waste- Pick-up at our Bofflens landfill ( Type B )
Reminder of cantonal directives
Madam, Sir, dear Customers,
We would like to remind you that asbestos waste, even if it is fibrocement (heavily agglomerated) and in good condition, must be handled with care. They must be carefully packaged, so that asbestos fibers cannot escape into the air, and be clearly identified.
.For construction site waste, the cantonal directive (DCPE 875) of October 2014 on the temporary storage, recycling and disposal of mineral materials from construction sites stipulates in particular:
Conditioning and disposal of highly agglomerated asbestos waste that can be sent to a 'type 8'
landfill.Packaged securely and efficiently directly on site, or in the bags provided (available at your communal waste collection centers) for private individuals. Packaging should be transparent (plastic film, special plastic bags) and not opaque (like bigbags), so as to allow visual inspection of the contents when received at our landfill.
At no time should this waste be unwrapped.
Let's work together for the health of everyone who has to handle these materials. We thank you for taking note of this and for informing all your employees contributing to the disposal of this waste.
