Commercial training

Training concept

Within the framework of the Education Ordinance (BiVo) 2012, school-based training is regulated in detail and consistently geared towards professional practice.

Training in vocational practice comprises four elements: Integrated Practical Training (IPT), Problem-Oriented Instruction (POU), work placement, inter-company courses (ÜK).

The courses are structured in a modular system and include comprehensive commercial and business management training. Depending on their requirements, trainees gradually obtain the Swiss-recognized VSH office management diploma, VSH commercial diploma and EFZ business management qualification.

The curriculum of the MPA Vocational and Commercial School corresponds in all parts to the training within the framework of a traditional commercial apprenticeship and guarantees the implementation of the school-based training and the conduct of the examinations in accordance with the Federal Training and Examination Regulations.

Medical education

The MPA Vocational and Commercial School is a vocational school accredited by the Office for Vocational Education and Training. The name stands for an excellent supplement or alternative to the existing state schools and encompasses preliminary vocational education, training and further education.

The medical training program is also aimed at young people and adults. We offer needs-based and innovative basic and advanced medical training courses.
